That is, we must consider the possibility that God did bring death to mankind on the very day He said He would; but that the death man died that day was not physical but rather a spiritual death:

  3. Ma come è possibile che Adamo abbia vissuto per centinaia di anni dopo aver mangiato il frutto di quell'albero? E’ possibile che Dio potesse aver sbagliato in qualche modo? Non osiamo pensare che Egli (Dio) potesse aver mentito. No. Nessuna di queste domande e’ una scelta : Dio non erra mai e non è possibile per Lui essere falso e mentitore. Quale potrebbe essere la spiegazione? La risposta ci vien data dalla Bibbia, qualora la osserviamo con una comprensione spirituale. Cioe’, dobbiamo considerare la possibilità che Dio non causo’ morte all’umanità il giorno in cui disse che l’avrebbe fatto; invece, la morte che l'uomo subi’ in quel giorno non fu una morte fisica, ma piuttosto spirituale.
