I see this is part of Getting Started Tutorial. On the pod I use the icon bar is not "underneath profile photo" but next to user's ID, on the right. Not like on tutorial's picture. Should I still translate exactly what's written in tutorial?

Also, is it possible to discuss with anyone a couple of questions before I can proceed translating?

1. Consistency. I see in already approved translations that Diaspora* is mostly given a cyrillic translation * диаспора* , but in a couple of places it is * diaspora . Same about word hashtag - sometimes *хештег, other times метка.
2. Metaphor. There were concerns about translation of pod - whether to translate the metaphor literally (as it is now in approved translations), to leave it as is - под like in your FAQ [https://wiki.diasporafoundation.org/FAQ_for_users/ru] or maybe to use another metaphor in Russian and include latin variant in brackets (pod).

Could anyone please advise where should I go to discuss these questions? Are there any chats translation teams are in?

Found the second project of the main site, which is almost entirely translated, will use it as guide.
