Faster Translation Suggestions

We’ve released an update to the Translation Suggestions system to make it faster.

It was previously taking about 30-40 seconds to load suggestions when the suggestions system was set to use the Global Translation Memory, so we were pre-loading them via background jobs and caching them to show them as fast as possible.

The new system loads suggestions using the Global Translation Memory in about 500 milliseconds, so we can now display them on demand, without any background jobs or caching.

That’s about 60 time faster. The Global Translation Memory is a Translation Memory using all the projects who chose to contribute to the Global Translation Memory. Using it gives more suggestions but was making suggestions slower.
