I am not translating, but was asked to try and help answer some of the questions as they come up regarding context and meaning of some things. In this case, I was trying to explain what the book was about. Personally, rather than a "not published in (country name), I'd put "published in the U.S.A" or "published in (language) " because 1) books travel and a copy may someday go to another country, and 2) languages can apply to more than one country.
