Actually, the typical date format currently used in Italian is dd/mm/yyyy. Would it be possible to follow such "rule" with the Italian translation? Otherwise I'm afraid misunderstandings would occur systematically (e.g., an Italian BCer reading "10/12/2010" would be more likely to think of 10th December than 12th October).

Brazilian standard is dd/mm/yyyy too.
-
Well, on the Dutch version, dd/mm/yyy is working correctly...
-
On the German version, dd/mm/yyy is working correctly.
Mmh, I think, the English Version gives the WRONG example (don’t write it like THIS). We translated it with the CORRECT example (which is automatically transformed into dd.mm.yyyy). -
Thanks :)
-
Correct Norwegian would be dd.mm.yyyy
-
Lunacia, please go ahead and correct it. Just click on the string in Norwegian, where it says "Datoen som er angitt er ikke et gyldig format (dvs. mm / dd / åååå)", and change it to what you know is correct. Then mark it as proofread and boom, you're a proofreader :-))

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this site. ;-)
BTW - any way to change my avatar? (Where on Earth did that come from?) -
No idea where it found your avatar, but you can change it here: https://webtranslateit.com/en/settings

Please use the format that's common in your language. If your language uses dots then please use them, eg. dd.mm.yyyy instead of mm/dd/yyyy
