In this particular case, I propose to translate the English “All listing types” to “Categorias” in Portuguese-PT (“Categories” in English). Indeed, the word “anúncios”, which has been used in Portuguese-BR, has a meaning in Portuguese-PT that is closer to “advertisements” than to “listings”. For that reason, it looks weird in some types of marketplace. “Categories”, in contrast, is sufficiently general to adapt to all types of marketplace. In fact, it’s the word used by the underlying Sharetribe platform.

In all other cases, I propose to translate the word "anúncios" (Portuguese-BR) to "posts" (English word which is also used in Portuguese-PT).

Thanks for sharing your insights! It should be noted though that categories are something different (another feature) than listing types.

Listing types are different ways to share good or services (for example some listing types could be "Renting out" or "Selling") and categories are ways to order and classify listings when posting new ones.

So probably using "Categorias" as a translation for "Listing types" will be confusing, as two different things will be named "categorias".

It's true that it can be quite difficult to find a good translation for listing types. Maybe "Posts tipos" could be an option? What do you think?

Hi, I think it's a good idea. It would be "Tipos de post" as in Portuguese the order these two grammar items is inverted. I'll proceed with that, If you agree.
