  1. Doris French Translator with no proofreading rights

    Hello Lubos,
    I see that theterm "Income" has been translated for years, and I do see its translation in the interface. However, it doesn't seem to have populated into the reports (for example, the French Profit and Loss Statement (État des revenus et dépenses) still has "Income" and "Expense" as labels.
    I'm new to this translation stuff, so I'm wondering how it works, since I only find one instance of "income" in the translation segments". Are these translations only for the interface or are they supposed to apply to the reports as well ?

    When you create new business, Manager will automatically add some default groups and accounts in your Chart of Accounts. If Manager is set to be in English during business creation, the language in your Chart of Accounts will remain in English as those groups/accounts have been already created (there are some exception).

    You can rename those groups & accounts if you need to. Alternatively, create new business while your language is set to French. You will see your groups and accounts will be in French.

    I guess I'll need a work around if I need to produce a report in both languages. (our organisation has both English and French speaking members).

    Maybe you can try renaming the accounts using double names with a / in the middle.
