    "Privacy" here should be a variable. I do not want to look up what the translation used was.

    variables are used when the software needs to interpolate things, for example a link or a number. It's not used to deduplicate translations, since such generalizations just don't work across different language families.

    To keep consistent terminology feel free to make use of Webtranslateit's term base tool.
