Because of the decentralized and open-source nature of diaspora*, it is possible for pod administrators to customize their pods. Therefore, depending on which pod you’re on, the interface might look very slightly different to how it’s described here. However, the essential elements should all be present, even if they are arranged slightly differently.

Door het gedecentraliseerde en open-source karakter van diaspora*, is het mogelijk voor podbeheerders om hun pods naar eigen smaak aan te passen.
Hierdoor is het mogelijk dat, afhankelijk van op welke pod je bent aangemeld, de interface er iets anders uitziet dan hier is beschreven. Hoe dan ook, de essentiële elementen zouden allemaal aanwezig moeten zijn, ook al zijn ze een beetje anders geranschikt. -
