    there is no distinct technique used here, or Dutch phrase for 'Cut out' as far as I know.

    Hmm. I'm not sure what's the best thing to do in such situations. I think leaving the English is probably the best.

    a 'cut out' would be a nest that is removed from the insides of a wall, tree etc, complete with comb.
