Alphabet cases in English (1337)

    I noticed that the alphabet characters in English (1337) are all uppercase (1IK3 7HI5). I want to ask whether there's any specific reason behind this? Because everywhere else, I've seen them lowercase (1!k3 7hi5) - even on Facebook.

    Moreover, 10w3rc453 looks more leet, while UPP3RC453 is rather easily readable by non-leets. So I propose that we convert everything to lowercase. What say, @Lacknerflo?
