    Old -> fingerprint is used to make sure that the person you are talking to actually is who they are claiming to be.

    Using " They " is not really nice / sexy / personal

    Add -> Who he or she claiming to be.

    The person is a single person ..

    Why not use the word : " collocutor ".

    A fingerprint is used to make sure that the collocutor you are talking to actually is who he or she is claiming to be.
