In this context "redeem" refers to the manager or the person that receives the invitation?

This is an error message a manager gets when she tries to “delete” an invitation that was made to a collaborator (a translator or a manager). Basically this makes the invitation link won’t be valid anymore so the person can’t join the project anymore.
