  Code-X Projesi Devam Ediyor.. Hi Istanbul-Galatasaray Rotaract,We recently had one of your members Aysu over, and greatly enjoyed her company. Your President Fatih has asked for us to tell you about some of the fundraising projects we have been involved in. One of our favourite fund raising projects was a Casino Night we put on to raise money for a group called Funky Flamingo. Funky Flamingo put on nights out for mentally disabled youths to meet people and get involved in clultural activities.To put the night on, we ran the night at a local bar with lots of floorspace and tables on a quiet night of the week. We bought a set of casino felts for games like Poker, BlackJack, Roulette and Craps for £30; we also were donated 10 packs of cards from a local business. We had 7 members dress up in Cocktail dresses and suits and play the role of croupiers. We sold a number of tokens for £5 so people could get playing and the people with the most tokens at the end won prizes that had been donated by the bar and by Funky Flamingos. There were 3 reasons why this was a successful event:   * Everyone had lots of fun and emailed us afterwards to tell us   * We made £250 for a good cause   * Funky Flamingos also invites some of their disabled members who felt completely at ease to talk to everyone at the event, which aparently doesn't happen at other eventsLet us know if you do anything similar sometime and maybe we can help with advice.
