Please see "Service Talk" discussion...
In France, it seems "Service talk" is the one of the midweek. The one of the weekend is called Final talk. Is it the case elsewhere ?
-
It is the same here in NL. I actually once asked the CO for the song to his 'final talk' (that evening, though I didn't say) and he gave the song for the Final Talk (that week), showing HE certainly uses the expression final talk, and uses it exclusively for the final talk of the week.
Anyway, in the TB planning dialogue I notice that Service Talk is used in the position of Final Talk. (and since we translated that as Service Talk, this is confusing). It could be argued TB could handle this better.
'Service talk' is correct as a description of what the final talk constitutes, but 'final talk' is much more common as a name/label/tag.I wonder though, if 'Circuit Overseer's Talk' right here, is about either of these(...!). It is quite neutral, so if you translate 'Discours du surveillant de circonscription', I think you are quite safe

Je propose légèrement plus court : Discours du responsable de circonscription
